Trooper Dung X. Martinez had been hospitalized due to Covid exposure and subsequently died at approximately 1018 hours, on October 21, 2021.
Trooper Martinez enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in April 2000. He was assigned to Troop T, King of Prussia at the time of his death. He had also been assigned to Troop K, Media, Troop J, Lancaster, and Troop M, Trevose, during his career with the Department.
A graduate of the 107th Cadet Class, Trooper Martinez was 57 years old.
